The idea that some crimes are punishable by death is something that appears in legal systems dating back at least as far as the ancient Babylonian Code of Hammurabi. But the death penalty isn’t always fair, and often times throughout history, tragic and horrible mistakes have been made. Listen to the stories of some executions gone wrong, of two men who apparently couldn’t be hanged, and what happens when an innocent man is put to death.
