November 9, 2020

In the late 1600s, King Louis XIV’s kingdom was rocked by a deadly scandal that threatened to destroy his monarchy. There was a rash of poisonings going on throughout France, often perpetrated by the king’s fellow noblemen who were murdering one another in order to speed up their inheritances or to knock off their rivals. It’s a story that includes murder, political intrigue, black magic, sex, Satanism and conspiracies. It’s a story that has gone down in history to be known as The Affair of the Poisons.
