The national parks system is sometimes called the greatest idea in the history of America. But there’s a dark side to the parks as well. During the 1940s and early 1950s, a string of strange disappearances occurred around Glastenbury Mountain in Vermont. Theories range from alien abduction, to Bigfoot, to dimensional gateways, to a serial killer on the loose. The strange events that occurred throughout the region led to a writer dubbing it The Bennington Triangle.
